It was owned by a lady in the Bay area for maybe over 40 years, about 25 years ago she took it to a restoration shop to get the car fully restored and in that process never came back. The car was completely stripped down, all the interior work was redone and that's where it stopped. The mechanic did a lean on the car and has owned it since the early 2000s. He finally retired about a year ago and had to sell all the cars in the shop, and that is when we acquired it. It has a clean CA title in our name. We put everything we can back on, just so it is easy to ship and so the new owner knows exactly what they have. I would say it is over 90% complete, you get what you see in the photos and videos so make sure to watch it in full. This is a CA car since new that came out of the bay area, it still has its blue plates as well as SF parking permit on the bumper. It is a CA special, meaning it has a back seat and no soft top. It is an original blue exterior paired with a blue interior. A very rare and sought after color combo among the W113. The body appears straight and free of accidents. The interior was all refurbished prior, all new seats, carpeting, dash, door panels, wood trim, etc. The car has some rust in the usual areas but nothing that is too difficult to handle. Watch the video and see for yourself. The engine and transmission should be original to the car. I just placed the engine and transmission in for shipping purposes, but nothing connected. The engine turns freely. Of course it is NOT RUNNING OR DRIVING. You get what you see. Great, solid, and probably one of the cheapest W113’s out there. Please do not waste my time.
